1310/1550nm Add/Drop
Wavelength Division Multiplexer (OADM)
The 1310/1550nm Add/Drop Wavelength Multiplexer can
be applied to drop one signal (1310 or 1550nm) and
add another signal with the same wavelength. The 4
ports OADM is used to add and drop two wavelength
signals simultaneously in the same fiber. They are
widely used to expand network capacity or to
introduce new services. Optowaves' OADM has met
Bellcore GR-1209-CORE requirements.
